Early Permits
Car Boot Sale permit for sellers to stall out early at the car boot sale

What are early permits?

Trade/Early permits are provided for sellers that require longer than the standard 30 minutes we give to stall holder's to set up their stalls before we allow buyers into the stall holders area.

Who can get an early permit?

Early permits are granted either by pre-arrangement or at the stall holder's marshal's discretion. As a guide, these permits are usually given to trade sellers or stall holders in larger vehicles who have a large amount of goods to unload.

Why can't everyone stall out early?

In 95% of cases, 30 minutes is more than enough time for a general boot seller to set out their stall, especially as they will not be pestered by buyers whilst setting up.

We allow stall holders to set up their tables and Gazebos upon arrival.
It is only goods that can not be unloaded before 11am.

By setting a general 'unload your goods' time at 11am the boot sale management are able to deter sellers from arriving too early. In previous years sellers where arriving as early as 9am. We believe that genuine boot sellers will not want wait around for ages before being allowed to stall out and therefore will arrive at a more sensible time.

The standard 30 minute stalling out time also deters trade dealer/sellers from wandering around other stalls before the official boot sale start time of 11.30am when Buyers are invited in.

I definitley need longer than 30 minutes!

Before you request an early pass please note:

We allow stall holders to set up their tables and Gazebos upon arrival.
It is only goods that can not be unloaded before 11am.

If you are certain that you still require an early permit then please email us your details.
Sellers that qualify will receive an emailed permit that can be printed out. We restrict the number of permits available to ensure that only those who genuinley need them receive them.
